Yoga can significantly improve pain associated with many common medical conditions. However, each person’s medical situation is unique. Hot yoga takes place in a warm and humid yoga studio. Usually, the room temperature is between 90 and 99 degrees Fahrenheit. The heat of the environment helps increase heart rates and loosen muscles for a more intense workout.
We do not recommend eating a heavy meal before attending a yoga class. Some people prefer a light snack about an hour or two before class. Other people like not eating, as they feel they can move more freely without a full stomach.
