Yoga can make a huge impact on your life, even when done only once a week. How frequently you practice yoga will depend on your personal needs and preferences. In general, most people see maximum benefits when they practice yoga at least two to three times per week.

We recommend wearing comfortable athletic clothing to our yoga sessions. This includes athletic clothing such as sneakers, leggings, shorts, yoga pants, and other clothes that allow you to move freely.

Yoga can significantly improve pain associated with many common medical conditions. However, each person’s medical situation is unique. As such, we recommend speaking with your doctor or healthcare provider if you have concerns about participation in yoga sessions. Before your yoga session begins, feel free to let your instructor know of your condition too!

Hot yoga takes place in a warm and humid yoga studio. Usually, the room temperature is between 90 and 99 degrees Fahrenheit. The heat of the environment helps increase heart rates and loosen muscles for a more intense workout.

We do not recommend eating a heavy meal before attending a yoga class. Some people prefer a light snack about an hour or two before class. Other people like not eating, as they feel they can move more freely without a full stomach.
